Associate
Merrill Daily practices Labor and Employment Law. She counsels and represents clients on many aspects of employment law including Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, and compliance with various employment statutes. She is quite experienced in pre-trial motion practice and litigating claims in both trial and arbitration settings. Ms Daily also counsels clients on employment practices and policies.
Ms. Daily is also experienced in general and commercial litigation, including breach of contract, debt collection, receivership actions, and interpleader actions. Ms. Daily handles all aspects of litigation, alternative dispute resolution and negotiating and executing Restructure, Repayment and Settlement Agreements.
Representative Experience
- Representation pertaining to employment-related matters, including disability, age, race, national origin, and sex discrimination charges, sexual harassment claims, family leave issues, wage-hour disputes, and compliance with various state and federal statutes
- Counsel and litigation pertaining to trade secrets, non-competition and non-solicitation matters, and contract disputes
- Represents national banks and other lenders in consumer litigation matters, including debt collection and repossession of secured collateral, deceptive trade practices claims, fraudulent and negligent misrepresentation claims, contractual disputes and receivership actions
- Counsel and litigation pertaining to successor liability and fraudulent transfer arising from asset acquisitions
